(More customer reviews)Until now, I've been using a mono-filament elastic cord for the few things I need stretchy cord for.It didn't hold up very well, was prone to over-stretching, and breakage.Opelon multi-filament solves those problems to a great extent, the multiple fibers help resist over-stretching and it is stronger than a mono-filament.Also, when using a mono-filament, you have to be very careful of making sure the drill of the bead is loose over the elastic, because even slightly snug points are more likely to break.I haven't had that problem with the Opelon.Must convince Ayla's Originals to carry it.
