A convenient way to store all your handsewing supplies, this lovely sewing box includes a Spool Insert and a divided Oval Tray - both removable for ease of use. We make this oval box in select Pennsylvania cherry, secured with solid copper tacks. Spool Insert has 22 brass pins and a turned cherry handle, on a base of clear Eastern white pine. Hand rubbed oil finish. Sewing Box measures 10 3/8" x 7 1/4" x 4 1/4" high. Made in USA.

(More customer reviews)This product would have earned the fifth star if it had a sturdy handle on top and a little beefier latch.I really like it, all my stuff fit in it, but it is thick and requires two hands to pick up.The latches are a bit wimpy too.These two improvements would go a long way to motivating me to buy the new and improved version.
