St. Cloud White Down Pillow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am so disappointed in this product!Nowhere in the description does it state that these pillows are 95% feathers and only 5% down. While they arrived quickly, and appear to be well made, they are not what the product description said, which is that they are down!.And the reviews also said nothing about not being all down,I am hoping the company will take them back, if not they will go to Goodwill. This is my first bad product from Amazon.I hope I can get my money back.

Carpenter Studio Style Bed Pillow Review

(More customer reviews)Like the title says, firm and comfortable. Great smelling, not like the gel filled pillows from China that smell like Hydrogen Peroxide. These are definitely 5 stars. Buy them and sleep like a baby. Ahhh...

Simmons Beautyrest Cotton Cover Latex Pillow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I think that the reason that some people are giving this pillow bad reviews is that the description does not properly explain the feel of this pillow. This is not a HARD pillow (what most would consider firm.)It is also not quite a SOFT pillow (no resistance beneath your head.)It is a SPRINGY pillow. It could also be described as bouncy.

Let me draw an analogy to shoes.A Birkenstock sandal has a firm supportive footbed--but no bounce.A cushioned slipper has a soft footbed--but still no bounce. An athletic shoe has a springy footbed. It is flexible, slightly hard, and has bounce. This pillow would be analogous to a less hard (but very springy) athletic shoe.

This is my all-time favorite pillow. It does need to be aired out for a while to be rid of the latex smell.I like it much better than memory foam. With memory foam you just sink. With latex, your head is cradled like in a hammock.

I think those who wrote bad reviews actually wanted a different type of pillow. This is an excellent pillow--you just need to know what you are getting. When it comes to firmness, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being soft and 10 being hard, this pillow is a 3.For springiness, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being flaccid and 10 being a balloon or a super bouncy ball, this pillow is about a 7.The manufacturer just needs a better writer to describe their product.

400 Thread-count White Goose Down Pillow with 100% Cotton Cover Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I wouldn't recommend this product. Not comfortable, minimal support. The filling is lumpy and uneven and the pillow flattens out very quickly. Used it once only. For the price, you get what you pay for.

Carpenter Rayon Made From Bamboo Bed Pillow, Twin Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)If you cover these pillows with a protective pillow cover, you'll wake up in the morning with a pillow that's half the size it was when you went to bed. Have no idea why that is. Also, the bamboo cloth is as silky as satin so regular pillow cases work their way right off the pillow during the night night. The stitching on these pillows seems substandard, as well as whatever they're stuffed with. I'm unhappy enough I've already replaced these bamboo cloth covered pillows with a Beautyrest Latex pillow, from Amazon, of course.

LinenSpa 800-Thread-Count KING Egyptian Cotton PILLOWCASE Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The description of these sheets implies a superior product. It's not.A thread count this high should mean the sheets have a smoother, softer feel than is typical. The fabric itself, "sateen", is also supposed to mean a higher level of softness and smoothness.Unfortunately, while these sheets aren't bad, they're no softer or less coarse than what you can get at your local discount department store, and are inferior to a 400 count set from Macy's which I received as a housewarming present.

(More customer reviews)These are terrific pillows, good material and well made. However, if I had it to do over again, I'd have bought the extra firm pillows instead. These aren't as firm as I expected. If you want a really firm pillow, I suggest you go with the extra firm intead.

Pike Street 330-Thread-Count Swiss Dot Cotton White Goose Down Pillow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I received this pillow about a month ago as a birthday present, and wanted to wait at least a little bit before writing a review.I had put this on my wish list after reading the reviews here, and am soooo glad I did.

I am primarily a side sleeper, but also sleep on my stomach and back at times. This pillow is really good for side sleeping, pretty good for stomach sleeping and alright for back sleeping.I had been getting occasional bad cricks in my neck from my old pillow - I have had none since getting this pillow. It's been a while since I had a feather pillow (last one I had for about a week until my cat destroyed it), and I don't know if I want to ever go back as this has made my sleeping so much better.

It seemed to be a reasonable price for the quality, which is why I put it on my list.I have had no "feather" leaks, the cover is very solid, and the feathers themselves fluff easily and don't clump.

If you are a side sleeper (or primarily one, like me) I'd recommend this pillow.

Product Description:
Enjoy a plush night's rest on the Pike Street medium density down pillow. Filled with 25 total ounces of white goose down, the pillow provides medium density ideal for back sleepers to maintain healthy head, neck, and spine alignment. Boasting a fill power of 600, the pillow provides a great down value. Fill power indicates how many cubic inches of space an ounce of down will occupy, and anything at 600 is considered in the industry to be excellent. The higher the fill power, the larger and stronger the clusters of down. Large clusters provide superior insulation, breathe better, and last much longer than smaller, fragile down clusters used in many lower quality pillows. The pillow's 330-thread-count cotton cover is crafted with a handsome damask Swiss dot pattern and is double stitched for strength and finished with silky piping. The king pillow measures 20 by 36 inches. Standard and queen sizes in this model are available separately.

American Textile 200-Thread-Count Cotton Pillow Cover, Set of 2 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a much better findthan anything I could have found at a department store or Target/Wal-Mart.The cases are a good thickness -- they protect the pillows but don't make them stiff. They zip up and the zipper doesn't bunch or catch.I've seen more poorly-made ones sell for more.Definite repurchase!
