SINGER QUICKFIX MEND MACHINE Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Save your money. We bought this machine from Target just to handle a few repairs and a hem here and there. Simple enough, eh?NOT. First off, this machine works off of 4 AA batteries or DC current; therefore, the piddly motor doesn't have enough power to drive the needle through anything but the lightest fabric.Next, upon assembly the foot petal did not work, thus the only way we could use the machine is by switching the power on or off.We tried it out for about 10 minutes and agreed that this machine, at any price, is a loser.Think about paying $20 more for the Brother LS2125I.

Singer Tradition 2250 Portable Sewing Machine Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My wife needed a simple basic sewing machine to repair and make adjustments to our clothes. We decided on this model based on the low price and the Singer name.As we understand there are more Singer machines in service than all other brands together.

We found the DVD that came with the machine very helpful and between that and the owner's manual the setup was easy.Since then she is using it from time to time and, as it fulfills all our needs at an affordable price, we must give it a high rating.

We would have hated to pay more for a sewing machine with more features that we were not going to use. This is a good reliable machine that fulfills our need for simplicity and ease of operation.
