(More customer reviews)i was disappointed upon receiving these sheets...not the silky soft feeling i would have immediately expected...for 1200 thread count i was expecting something really spectacular.normally i've bought 300-500 thread count kinda of the average...so i thought i would really treat myself.disappointed.i have since washed twice and there really isn't much of a difference.i also since bought a 770 thread count sheet right off the shelf from bed bath beyond and right out of the package this sheet was much softer than these 1200 count. hope this helps!

(More customer reviews)First thing--don't go by the color on amazon. Granted, allcomputers are not set the same, but on mine, the color shown is a light, light sagey color. What I got is a mid-to-dark sage. I tend to prefer light sheets, so that was a bit disappointing.

Think a deeper, muted, sage-green and you'll not be surprised. Don't go by the image above.

Now, to the sheet--very substantial feeling. Thick and nice feeling, but I expected softer. I assume repeated washings will take care of that. Not to say it's not soft, mind you, just for this thread count and original price, I did expect dream-soft. The material has a subdued gloss that's quite pretty.

I like the sheets, though they are not supersoft out of the bag or after first wash before using. The color is elegant and dark (yes, I prefer lighter tones, but this is a nice neutral color that can take on a variety of comforters and accent pillows) and looks great with dark wood bedroom furniture like ours.

Enjoy, and I'll update if the quality is spotty with time.

Fit well, colors are well-suited for the rest of my bedding, no complaints on appearance.

After one month's use, three washes, the sheets are softening more still.

They're comfortable to sleep on, not too hot, not too scratchy, etc.

I'll buy again.
