(More customer reviews)The only way this product looks as it does in the pictures is if you iron it.The fabric is very thin and probably 200 thread count although the package does not say.Pretty disappointed in the poor quality. The design shown is as it appears in person but that's about it. For the money we could've bought a brand new comforter and not just a duvet cover.

Janome MyLock 204D Serger Overlock Review

(More customer reviews)Sergers are amazing, frustrating machines. This is the only one I have ever used, but I am assuming that such a complex machine, regardless of manufacturer, is difficult to learn to use. I am not an everyday sewist, and I would say this machine sees about 5 projects a year.

This machine is kind of built for a beginner. It is relatively easy to change from seams to rolled edges. It is easy to remember how to thread, however the provided thread was not high quality and I replaced it soon after learning to thread. Troubleshooting problems was a pain in the neck because after you re-thread the lower looper 5 times and the thread breaks AGAIN, you just want to go back to your little regular machine and zigzag your edges. Then you remember the differental feed, which is a pretty sweet deal, and you re-thread the lower looper after adjusting the tension.

Honestly, this is alot more machine than I need as it is just a toy for me. I would not recommend a serger if you are a hobby sew-er, unless you have alot of patience, and are bored with the 24 stitches your regular machine can achieve. That being said, if you are into knitwear or quilting, a serger (this serger) could be a dream come true.

(More customer reviews)This Singer is no good.I have attempted sewing with this several times, and have unfortunaly been able to make only ONE successful line of stiching.I have played around with this so many times thinking that "maybe this time it will work" but it hasn't.I tried contacting Singer and got back a standard email that did not have anything to do with my question.Also, the instruction book that claims to be easy to read, explains things in a difficult manner, and the pictures that go along with it are no help.Therefore, I give up, and am taking it back.

Euro-Pro 100-546 Serger Review

(More customer reviews)For one reason. Horrible customer service. I sewed over my needle the first week and dented the blades. The number from HSN shot me to India where they gave me another number that was always busy. Finally I got thier number in Canada. After being on hold for an HOUR, I ordered two sets of blades for $75. They were the wrong blades. I called again, wrong blades came, again. And this time they only sent me one set. HSN is getting this machine back and Euro Pro will not get any more of my money.
