(More customer reviews)We read about these sheets in Consumer Reports and decided to try them. They are the only sheets that we have ever bought that really fit our California King Size Bed. (We have a very thick mattress)They are long enough and wide enough that my wife nor I have to fight to keep covers on. They wash up beautifully and have had minimal shrinkage if any. We highly recommend these sheets.

(More customer reviews)The 800 count weave is wonderful. BUT - we washed it exactly
as advised in the instructions, and the thing SHRANK!!! It
fits 3 corners of the bed, but even I, a former weight lifter
weighing 270 pounds, could not pull it down over the 4th
corner more than one pad's width. So, the "corner" sits ON
the top of the bed, some 6 inches into the sleeping area.
I would NOT buy this item again, nor would I ever recommend
it. Perhaps the shrinkage is the reason the sheets are discounted
so much.

My mattress is 15", and these sheets are supposed to work with 18" mattresses.

The sheets fit - just - when I got them - but now, six months later, they do not fit.

Then I decided to buy 10 more pairs, for adult grand children Christmas presents. I do custom embroidery and they will make nice gifts.HOWEVER,the second order was not Sateen and is not as luxurious as the original order. What a shame they changed quality.
