(More customer reviews)While I can't complain about the great price on this sheet set (less than $30 for a king-sized set) I can't really gush about the softness of the set given that it's supposed to be 500 thread count.It's not horribly uncomfortable but it certainly doesn't even remotely approach the kind of quality I would expect with this high of a thread count.Even after washing the sheets feel stiff and almost a bit scratchy. But you get what you pay for.If I'd paid what is listed as "retail price" for this set I'd certainly be upset but like I said, less than $30 is a reasonable price for these sheets.

I literally slide between these sheets!They are heavier but still breathable, and have withstood multiple washings and even kitties with claws racing across the bed and playing in them without any problems due to the dense weave/high thread count.A little heavy for summer maybe for most people but I love them all year round.I have the burgundy and the color is great and hasn't faded.

I eagerly popped them in the washer/dryer and was greatly disappointed when laundering complete. They were terrible wrinkly and got little pill balls within 2 washings and the elastic on the fitted sheet stretched out too. I ended up buying those stretchy sheet straps that are applied to the fitted sheet just to keep them on the bed. Very disappointed!

(More customer reviews)i have not washed these yet,but are very silky and have a sateen finish.they are beautiful and feel great !!!but a word of caution the color rose is not pink like the picture, they are more of a light chocolate very pretty color.and the aqua is a deep aqua.will probally by the honey color,like the yellow hue......update nov. 8th 2010. i just bought a new mattress set that has a 13 and half inch mattress and was afraid these sheets wouldn't fit(had 3 sets) of them. but they fit great !!!!! was so happy.have these sheets for several now and they hold up well....

Then I decided to buy 10 more pairs, for adult grand children Christmas presents. I do custom embroidery and they will make nice gifts.HOWEVER,the second order was not Sateen and is not as luxurious as the original order. What a shame they changed quality.
