It's super-snuggly but lightweight so it will make a great year-round comforter for us. It's well-made and just a great value.

THIS one was noted as being VERY warm (and allergy resistant since for allergy reasons I cannot do down). IT IS. Bravo. Though it doesn't look heavy and isn't to sleep under, had to turn the heat in the waterbed down to a lower temperature (good for the winter heating bills). Fabulous item for it's price.

(More customer reviews)The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the wonderful, soft texture of the material. It's also lovely to look at, with a subtle stripe and silver edging; too bad I'm putting it in a duvet cover since white would clash with my black cats!

The filling looks to be one large piece, with the stitching running across it, so there should be no problem with shifting. The quality is top notch so far (although I haven't washed it yet), and it's very warm--just right for a bedroom kept cool in the winter.
