It's super-snuggly but lightweight so it will make a great year-round comforter for us. It's well-made and just a great value.

(More customer reviews)I've been looking for a great down alternative comforter for several months now.I've searched in Department Stores, Bed and Bath store, and finally, online at Amazon.The comforters that I really liked in the brick and mortar stores were of exceptional quality, but also high priced.I could not find any comforters that I could see taking home for under $200.

When I saw this comforter on Amazon, I was a bit skeptical, and thought "hey, if I don't like it, I'll send it back" - Well, this baby is staying on my bed!It really is wonderful!Great quality!Pure comfort! And for under $100 for the medium fill (which I purchased), you can't beat the price for the quality.

Oh - One major part of my decision to order was the box stitching and how this feature keeps the fill from sliding to the edges of the comforter. If you are seriously searching for a comforter like this, buy it now!You will be thrilled with the deal!

Pinzon 375-Thread Count PrimaLoft Comforter Review

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice PrimaLoft comforter and comparable to high end store brands.The 375 thread-count cover looks and feels luxurious. I agree with the description that this is a medium weight comforter.It would be too warm for summer (in my opinion) but good for fall/winter depending on how warm you keep your bedroom. I think it would be comfortable to about 62 degrees; I like to sleep warm in a cool bedroom.The "sewn-through box construction" is nice because it keeps the PrimaLoft from shifting around; you don't get cold and warms spots.

I measured it and it is 88x96.Fits nicely on my queen pillow top mattress as a comforter which means it falls just to the bottom of the mattress -barely to the top of the box spring.You should measure your mattress to make sure this is wide enough for you because some mattresses are thicker than others even though they are all called "queen".It fits even more generously/luxuriously on a full/double bed which is the bed I'm using it on.

PrimaLoft is heavier than down when comparing the same comfort range.But it is a very good choice for people who have allergies or in a guest room where different people will be sleeping.I have only PrimaLoft in my guest bedrooms for this reason. PrimaLoft weighs more than a comparable-warmth down comforter but it is an excellent substitute for down and much warmer/luxurious than polyester fill.

Putting the comforter in the dryer for about 10 minutes on "air" will fluff it up.I always do this with my down & PrimaLoft comforters when I take them out of storage.The fibers/feathers get compacted in storage and therefore aren't as good at keeping you warm.

I recommend you purchase a duvet cover to keep the comforter clean and dust free.This is especially important if you have allergies.It is much easier to wash the cover than the comforter.

So this product arrived yesterday. My wife was thoroughly disappointed, since its really thin. It is not fat and fluffy as you'd imagine given the boastful claims of the advertisment. Is it warm? Yes it is. Is there such a thing as a "Siberian goose"? Yes. Are there Siberian goosefeathers are in this comforter? NO. Read this article. [...]
I'm inclined to believe it. This comforter is probably made in a sweatshop in China somewhere and I wonder what the fill is actually made of.
Does it do a decent job of keeping you warm for the price you've paid? Yes. Am I gonna return it? No. Too much hassle and shipment cost for a $100 comforter. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? NO!!
Lesson learned about buying bedding online.
Someone else has also mentioned in a review for the same product but for a different size that its available on eBay for cheaper.
Knocking it down to 3 stars for all the lies and misleading marketing.

(More customer reviews)The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the wonderful, soft texture of the material. It's also lovely to look at, with a subtle stripe and silver edging; too bad I'm putting it in a duvet cover since white would clash with my black cats!

The filling looks to be one large piece, with the stitching running across it, so there should be no problem with shifting. The quality is top notch so far (although I haven't washed it yet), and it's very warm--just right for a bedroom kept cool in the winter.
